Brutusky is an annual magazine of IKASSLAV (Slavic Studies Union) at Faculty of Humanities of University of Indonesia that offers a signature mix of reporting the highlights of Russian Studies in one year as well as analyzing the contemporary events and stories from Russia in fields of Politics, Foreign Affairs, Economics, Arts & Culture, Literature, Education, Science & Technology, Tourism, Cuisine, and Fashion.

Brutusky is there to equip Russian Studies Students to train their creativity, critical thinking, and writing skill, preparing them into the professional world in Journalism, Media, and Publishing.

The Seagull – Russian Theatre Class of 2022

“The Seagull” is a play written by the Russian playwright Anton Chekhov. It was first performed in 1896. Russian Studies Students of University of Indonesia Class of 2022, specifically B Class, use it as a theatrical performance to fulfill the 3rd semester mandatory course of “Russian Theatre”. The official trailer achieved 12k+ viewers on Instagram, and we successfully hold a live performance in Faculty of Humanities, Building IX on 20th December 2023 which attracted hundreds of visitors.
